been having trouble with the Valhelsia mod pack. without a doubt trying to run it will crash the game prior to start.

here is my crash log sorry i couldn't figure out how to add it to the post any other way.

I'm launching from twitch me and my boyfriend have been trying to get this to work for days. I hope someone can help, but if not i appreciate that you've read regardless.

sorry i am very new to all this sort of thing.

There seems to be a mod installed that is for 1.12.2 or earlier, it might be phosphor.

phosphor is up to date as are the rest of the mods I've read through the mods list about 5 or 6 times now because all the other threads with this issue suggest that first. All mods in the pack are 1.15.2

That is literally not possible.

Show the complete latest.log (assuming Twitch still hasn't fixed their shit and they break the debug.log).

my boyfriend is running the exact same modpack that he downloaded at the same time, all the same mods, launcher, and settings. Mine is the only one not running, just like you suggested i checked that specific mod and rechecked all the other ones. All mods in the pack are updated as of 2 hours ago and before that they were updated on the 5th of this month.

The "FruitTrees" mod is not for 1.15.2. Or something that it's triggering is not.

Unfortunately these unnecessary coremods make it very hard to debug problems like this.

This is what happened, i moved that specific mod to a folder on my desktop temporarily, still crashed but the log is longer now.

Well, not sure what to tell you.

This is most likely just Twitch launcher being Twitch launcher again and being completely and utterly broken. I highly recommend not using it.

You can try to tell it to repair the instance, but that might not help.

which launcher would be best for this particular modpack?

There has been quite a bit of drama around it, but unfortunately it has to be said that MultiMC is, imho, still the best way, since it also imports Twitch modpack files.

thank you for all the help i really appreciate it. ❤️
