invalid e-tag checksum

i was attempting to download a 1.12.2 forge server like i always have done in the past but this time when i tried to install it it say invalid e-tag checksum. i tried to install the server.jar file manually as it asked me to but the invalid e-checksum message still pops up! how do i fix this????
