grodzio122
I'm not sure if this is a bug or its not yet added, but since that button did work on previous forge versions like 1.12, i thought i'd make a thread about this. The "config" button in the main menu for changing mod settings doesn't work at all with any mod. I tried to find a solution but it seems like no one else has this problem. Rikka0_0
I'm having exactly the same problem! Fresh forge install (30.0.41) on Minecraft 1.15.1, dev env is Idea 2017, running on Java8. Some other threads suggest that the config gui feature may have not been implemented yet I'm digging through the code and trying to find the answer. Why they abandon the nice 1.12.2 config system and rewrite a broken and incompatible new one? Because the old config system was not great and moving to the new one makes everything much cleaner as it uses a better API built on top of NightConfig. Thanks for this information! Are they building the GUI or it is still in the to-do list? Cadiboo
I’ve built the GUI and I’m currently enhancing it to allow server admins to change the server config.
