[1.14.4] How to make blocks face a certain direction?

I made a custom model for a block, but when I add facing=, it gives errors. I looked in vanilla blockstates, and they are the exact same as mine. I also tried removing the "terracraft:" but to no avail. Here is my code:

{
  "variants": {
    "facing=north": { "model": "terracraft:block/angel_statue" },
    "facing=south": { "model": "terracraft:block/angel_statue", "y": 180 },
    "facing=west":  { "model": "terracraft:block/angel_statue", "y": 270 },
    "facing=east":  { "model": "terracraft:block/angel_statue", "y": 90 }
  }
}

A simple but annoying problem that I have no idea how to fix.

Your block also needs to have a blockstate property that matches the json file. The json file isn't magic.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

One more thing: I've been looking at the vanilla blocks, but their code has a different layout than mine. My blocks are declared in BlockList.java and then defined in Main.java (The way Harry Talks did it) Here is the angel statue code in my main class:

BlockList.angel_statue = new Block(Block.Properties.create(Material.ROCK).hardnessAndResistance(2f, 30.0f).lightValue(0).sound(SoundType.STONE)).setRegistryName(location("angel_statue")),

Where should I insert the facing code here? Or is it somewhere else? Sorry, I am not too experienced in Java or Forge yet.
