1.12.2 MDK gradle init stuck on downloadServer

Whenever I try to run setupDecompWorkspace, the process always hangs at `Building 39% > :downloadServer`

I've tried allocating more ram, and that's about it.

Full log:

To honour the JVM settings for this build a new JVM will be forked. Please consider using the daemon: https://docs.gradle.org/2.14/userguide/gradle_daemon.html.
This mapping 'snapshot_20171003' was designed for MC 1.12! Use at your own peril.

How long have you left it running for? Do you have a good and stable internet connection?

I'ts been sitting for around 10-12 minutes, but previous attempts have had it sit for up to 45 minutes with no change in percentage. Internet isn't exactly fast, but it is fast enough that even large files (100-200MB) usually finish within a half hour tops. Never know. My internet could have just decided to tank. Hoping that's the case.

That's probably an internet problem.

Try again a while later or try with a VPN.

Some tips:

Modder Support:

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

4.

Programming via Eclipse's hotfixes will get you nowhere

5. Learn to use your IDE, especially the debugger.

Support & Bug Reports:

Spoiler

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
