[SOLVED, BIG MISTAKE] Help with StringUtils

So i was following with MCJty's 1.12 Modding tutorial, episode 10, and i'm stuck on something. Here is the link:

 

The time is about 12:10 on the video. I can't seem to find the method "split" in StringUtils. I'm wondering if this was removed or moved somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, well it looks like i used the wrong StringUtils.

That is why you should not be spoon-fed with tutorials without knowing what you are trying to accomplish.

Which video? Your link goes to the playlist which starts on episode 1.

I'd like to see what he's doing and if he's doing something wrong or something that's bad practice, I'd like to let him know.

Oops, sorry, i didn't really clarify. I had actually imported the wrong StringUtils. I had accidentally used Minecraft's StringUtils, but i was supposed to import another one. It was also on episode 10 btw. I didn't realize it started from episode 1.

Was just curious what he was using that method for, and it looks fine. Not what I would do, but it looks fine.

 

Mind, there still may be things he isn't doing in an acceptable manner, but I don't have time to go through all his videos trying to find them.

MCJty is one of the better vids out there
