I think the problem is the version of Optifine you are using is for forge 2729, and you are using forge 2838.

 

From what I understand, when using optifine you must make sure you are using the version that is compatible with the version of forge you are using (check the optifine changelogs, it tells what version of forge it is compatible with)

I think that this is a Quark<->OptiFine incompatibility. Unfortunately whatever coremod is patching tons of classes & fails doesn’t include its name in its logging, so I’m not 100% sure that it’s Quark.
