I wanted to test my project outside the eclipse workspace and tried building it.
My project compiles and runs from eclipse or by running

gradlew runClient

but attempting to build my project causes the following error.

The mod is client side only and is far from complete.
I've made the source available here.

I found the issue.
In case anyone else ever manages to come across this issue I hope this may help them

Basically it would seem that an anonymous class causes issues.
Example:

public void foo(){
  class Bar{int start, end; public Q(int a, int b){start = a;end = b;}} //this is an anonymous class
  //... more code
}
