shultzy
I have an item with metadata to be textured, I can get the items to show in the creative menu but are showing up with the default textures. I am using registry events to handle registration of items and loading on client side as shown here. Here is the JSON file associated with the item. Upon launch, forge does not complain at all about texture loading but does output this line in fml-client-latest.log: Spoiler [22:15:35] [Client thread/DEBUG] [FML/]: Unable to lookup sfm:sport_fish for public static jshultz.sfm.item.ItemSportFishFood jshultz.sfm.init.ItemRegistry.ITEM_SPORT_FISH_FOOD. This means the object wasn't registered. It's likely just mod options.
Jay Avery
Where do you register your items? Edited July 3, 2017 by Jay Avery

Jay Avery
I'm not an expert on using @ObjectHolder, but I think the declared type has to be Item and not a subclass of it?

That's not the case. 1 Quote Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
