Ok so i used the .ph to try to install forge. It kind of worked. It did decompile the minecraft.jar, but did not import the forge files. Therefore i could not import BaseMod or anything else. PLZ HELP!

It can be decompiled on the mac, but I thought you had to use the `install.sh` script...

Yes i did use the .ph script. Heres what i did.

'Download Fernflower(i cant access dropbox) and put it into runtime/ bins'

'Put mcp into a folder, and put forge inside that too.'

'Put bin folder and resource folder+minecraft_server.jar into jars.

'Open terminal then do cd -drags forge folder in-'

'Type bash -drags install.ph in-'

'Forge setup started'

'Decompile exception'

  • 1 month later...

Lex did not design forge to be decompiled on mac

Quit fucking saying this, everything works just fine on mac if you're not stupid.

Anyways, the user needs to go install astyle.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
