[Unsolved] Can't Pick Up Modded Items

Hi, I recently started using Forge and I will say I am new to the whole thing so I may not know a whole lot. I downloaded the Forge 1.6.2 Installer and it worked completely fine on my PC and i downloaded the client and everything. So i downloaded my first mod (Zan's Mini map) and went to my online server and tried using it and it worked perfectly. Then i tried installing the Small Boats Forge mod and i put it in the mod folder and tried using it. I crafted the recipe and I saw the item show up in the crafted box to the right. I tried dragging it into my inventory but every time I tried it would just replace itself back into the crafted box and wouldn't let me put it in my inventory. I couldn't even use it. So I went to single player to try it and it works fine! But every time I try using it on my server it won't work. The mini-map works but the Small Boats mod doesn't? I tried searching for an answer and all i could find were people telling me to create a modded server. So i opened the Forge installer on my mac and clicked "Install Server" and I did everything it told me to and I tried again and nothing! It didn't work. Everything else i find on the subject is just people using Java Script. I don't know anything about that, like I said I'm kind of a Newb when it comes to this. PLEASE HELP!

You need to install the small boats mod on your server. The minimap works because it is client only mod, which means it works on your minecraft and no-one else can see it or has to use it to go on your server. But the Small Boats mod is server and client so you have to install forge on your server and install Small Boats Mod.

Thanks! I know this may sound like a stupid question, (I'm kind of a newb) but how do you install and setup Minecraft Forge server 1.6.2 on mac? make it a modded server so i can use my mods online with my friends? i can't find any videos or anything about setting it up on MAC! I know it's easy and I've attempted it before but I can't seem to do it right all the time... PLEASE HELP!

I tried that and then I installed it into a separate folder. In that folder I opened the minecraft forge universal files and it created all these files while starting a server. After everything was installed I stopped the server and put my mods into the mods folder. Then I opened up terminal and typed in: java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui and tried to use the mods in the server and the same thing happened... nothing worked. PLEASE HELP

    • They were already updated, and just to double check I even did a cleanup and fresh update from that same page. I'm quite sure drivers are not the problem here.
    • i tried downloading the drivers but it says no AMD graphics hardware has been detected
    • Update your AMD/ATI drivers - get the drivers from their website - do not update via system
    • As the title says i keep on crashing on forge 1.20.1 even without any mods downloaded, i have the latest drivers (nvidia) and vanilla minecraft works perfectly fine for me logs: https://pastebin.com/5UR01yG9
    • Hello everyone, I'm making this post to seek help for my modded block, It's a special block called FrozenBlock supposed to take the place of an old block, then after a set amount of ticks, it's supposed to revert its Block State, Entity, data... to the old block like this :  The problem I have is that the system breaks when handling multi blocks (I tried some fix but none of them worked) :  The bug I have identified is that the function "setOldBlockFields" in the item's "setFrozenBlock" function gets called once for the 1st block of multiblock getting frozen (as it should), but gets called a second time BEFORE creating the first FrozenBlock with the data of the 1st block, hence giving the same data to the two FrozenBlock :   Old Block Fields set BlockState : Block{minecraft:black_bed}[facing=east,occupied=false,part=head] BlockEntity : net.minecraft.world.level.block.entity.BedBlockEntity@73681674 BlockEntityData : id:"minecraft:bed",x:3,y:-60,z:-6} Old Block Fields set BlockState : Block{minecraft:black_bed}[facing=east,occupied=false,part=foot] BlockEntity : net.minecraft.world.level.block.entity.BedBlockEntity@6d1aa3da BlockEntityData : {id:"minecraft:bed",x:2,y:-60,z:-6} Frozen Block Entity set BlockState : Block{minecraft:black_bed}[facing=east,occupied=false,part=foot] BlockPos{x=3, y=-60, z=-6} BlockEntity : net.minecraft.world.level.block.entity.BedBlockEntity@6d1aa3da BlockEntityData : {id:"minecraft:bed",x:2,y:-60,z:-6} Frozen Block Entity set BlockState : Block{minecraft:black_bed}[facing=east,occupied=false,part=foot] BlockPos{x=2, y=-60, z=-6} BlockEntity : net.minecraft.world.level.block.entity.BedBlockEntity@6d1aa3da BlockEntityData : {id:"minecraft:bed",x:2,y:-60,z:-6} here is the code inside my custom "freeze" item :    @Override     public @NotNull InteractionResult useOn(@NotNull UseOnContext pContext) {         if (!pContext.getLevel().isClientSide() && pContext.getHand() == InteractionHand.MAIN_HAND) {             BlockPos blockPos = pContext.getClickedPos();             BlockPos secondBlockPos = getMultiblockPos(blockPos, pContext.getLevel().getBlockState(blockPos));             if (secondBlockPos != null) {                 createFrozenBlock(pContext, secondBlockPos);             }             createFrozenBlock(pContext, blockPos);             return InteractionResult.SUCCESS;         }         return super.useOn(pContext);     }     public static void createFrozenBlock(UseOnContext pContext, BlockPos blockPos) {         BlockState oldState = pContext.getLevel().getBlockState(blockPos);         BlockEntity oldBlockEntity = oldState.hasBlockEntity() ? pContext.getLevel().getBlockEntity(blockPos) : null;         CompoundTag oldBlockEntityData = oldState.hasBlockEntity() ? oldBlockEntity.serializeNBT() : null;         if (oldBlockEntity != null) {             pContext.getLevel().removeBlockEntity(blockPos);         }         BlockState FrozenBlock = setFrozenBlock(oldState, oldBlockEntity, oldBlockEntityData);         pContext.getLevel().setBlockAndUpdate(blockPos, FrozenBlock);     }     public static BlockState setFrozenBlock(BlockState blockState, @Nullable BlockEntity blockEntity, @Nullable CompoundTag blockEntityData) {         BlockState FrozenBlock = BlockRegister.FROZEN_BLOCK.get().defaultBlockState();         ((FrozenBlock) FrozenBlock.getBlock()).setOldBlockFields(blockState, blockEntity, blockEntityData);         return FrozenBlock;     }
