My suggestion is that you look up a video tutorial for modding minecraft and if you don't undestand something about the syntax or a specific subject you look it up at a Java tutorial. There's no point in reading only the Java tutorials and then jump to Minecraft as you may read things you don't need and skip things you really do.
I'm trying to make a block that does some action after a whole minecraft day has passed, so I'm scheduling block updates every 24000 ticks. My question is, imagine if there are 12000 ticks left before the block does the next action. If a player sleep, will there be less ticks after they wake up and the night has passed, or nothing changes?
Thanks in advance.
