  1. Hello, first and foremost I am new to these forums and apologize if anything is done wrong. Something I have realized and that is quickly becoming a more pressing issue is that Minecraft is not launching with more memory no matter what I do. With an increasing number of mods being added, I am finding it harder to play and that the game is crashing more often throwing "Out of Memory" errors left and right. I have been changing the JVM Arguments through the new launcher but as long as Forge is installed it refuses to use any argument I put into place. I have tried the following: -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true -Xmx6G -Xmx6G -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true -Xmx6G -Xms3G -Xmx6G -Xms3G The last two won't even launch the game, it simply ends "with bad state (exit code 1)." The first two allow the game to launch and it appears to work, however upon examining the console after launch I have found that it has been outputting this: [17:53:11 INFO]: Client> Error occurred during initialization of VM [17:53:11 INFO]: Client> Incompatible minimum and maximum heap sizes specified [17:53:11 INFO]: Client> Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Xmx512M I have tried the recommended version of Forge as well as some other versions and none of those have solved the issue. I am using 64-bit Java. I have tried checking the custom executable option for Java in the launcher, although I believe with or without it, it is pointing to the same place. If you need any more info, or if I have left anything out, let me know. Any help is appreciated
