  1. Okay, so I have a blockstate file that I feel should be working. I've looked at similar files of multiple well-established mods that have the exact same syntax as the one I'm using yet when I go to test the mod, I get this error for all four directions: This is my blockstate file: Now if spell it out for the facing part as "facing=north":{}, etc. then it works fine, but then requires I do another entry for any other property I might have. So what I'm wanting to know is: why is the key->value version not working for me but works fine for every other mod I've looked at and even works according to forge's documentation? Is there something I'm missing in my syntax that I'm just plainly not seeing?
