i can't use cocoa beans in a crafting/smelting recipe

it doesn't work for me both crafting and smeling crash my game :'( -
I keep getting this error when making a recipe for my cake and my chocolate bar when i wanna make my crafting recipe(for the cake) and a smelting recipe(for my chocolate bar) im on the latest mcp and forge but still get the problem :'(
