  1. I'm pretty sure I just solved the problem with the 1.8.9 one. By making new folders with the same names and dropping in the 2.13 jar file. Minecraft was able to launch forge. So basically what I did to fix the forge was go to the URL in the error then place the files downloaded in the jline folders in the minecraft game directory and for 1.8.9 I had to make brand new folders named the same but just with a different version (2.13) in the jline folder. (while typing this whole thing out minecraft 1.8.9 was loading up and i wanted to see if it would crash but it loaded up perfectly fine.
  2. Yes the exact same one. I managed to fix the 1.12 version of my forge download by manually downloading from the url shown in the error. But when I tried with the 1.8.9 version it didn't work most likely because it thinks the file is supposed to be somewhere else.
  3. Didn't work. Still getting the error. I've tried multiple different installers to.

  5. I had just installed forge and tried to launch it but i got the "Launching game failed"
  6. Getting this error that the files failed to download. I've tried many solutions and none of them have worked so far. I've attached the logs for both of them. forge-1.8.9-11.15.1.1722-installer-win.exe.log forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2768-installer-win.exe.log
