  9. How do I add 'CoFHCore-1.12.2-4.6.2.25:universal' Do I add classpath or deobfcompile? before CoFH?
  10. So I looked and it says that the normal dependencies are in the mod.info file https://mcforge.readthedocs.io/en/latest/gettingstarted/structuring/ is this correct?
  11. buildscript { repositories { jcenter() maven { name = "CoFH Maven" url = "http://maven.covers1624.net" url = "https://files.minecraftforge.net/maven" } } dependencies { classpath 'net.minecraftforge.gradle:ForgeGradle:2.3-SNAPSHOT' classpath 'CoFHCore-1.12.2-4.6.2.25:universal' deobfcompile "cofh:RedstoneFlux:1.12-2.1.0.6:universal" } } apply plugin: 'net.minecraftforge.gradle.forge' //Only edit below this line, the above code adds and enables the necessary things for Forge to be setup. version = "1.0" group = "com.yourname.modid" // http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-naming-conventions.html archivesBaseName = "modid" sourceCompatibility = targetCompatibility = '1.8' // Need this here so eclipse task generates correctly. compileJava { sourceCompatibility = targetCompatibility = '1.8' } minecraft { version = "1.12.2-14.23.5.2824" runDir = "run" // the mappings can be changed at any time, and must be in the following format. // snapshot_YYYYMMDD snapshot are built nightly. // stable_# stables are built at the discretion of the MCP team. // Use non-default mappings at your own risk. they may not always work. // simply re-run your setup task after changing the mappings to update your workspace. mappings = "snapshot_20171003" // makeObfSourceJar = false // an Srg named sources jar is made by default. uncomment this to disable. } dependencies { // you may put jars on which you depend on in ./libs // or you may define them like so.. //compile "some.group:artifact:version:classifier" //compile "some.group:artifact:version" // real examples //compile 'com.mod-buildcraft:buildcraft:6.0.8:dev' // adds buildcraft to the dev env //compile 'com.googlecode.efficient-java-matrix-library:ejml:0.24' // adds ejml to the dev env // the 'provided' configuration is for optional dependencies that exist at compile-time but might not at runtime. //provided 'com.mod-buildcraft:buildcraft:6.0.8:dev' // the deobf configurations: 'deobfCompile' and 'deobfProvided' are the same as the normal compile and provided, // except that these dependencies get remapped to your current MCP mappings //deobfCompile 'com.mod-buildcraft:buildcraft:6.0.8:dev' //deobfProvided 'com.mod-buildcraft:buildcraft:6.0.8:dev' // for more info... // http://www.gradle.org/docs/current/userguide/artifact_dependencies_tutorial.html // http://www.gradle.org/docs/current/userguide/dependency_management.html } processResources { // this will ensure that this task is redone when the versions change. inputs.property "version", project.version inputs.property "mcversion", project.minecraft.version // replace stuff in mcmod.info, nothing else from(sourceSets.main.resources.srcDirs) { include 'mcmod.info' // replace version and mcversion expand 'version':project.version, 'mcversion':project.minecraft.version } // copy everything else except the mcmod.info from(sourceSets.main.resources.srcDirs) { exclude 'mcmod.info' } } This is the build.gradle file I'm trying to add CoFH core (1.12.2-4.6.2.25) to the dependencies and redstone Flux (1.12-2.1.0.6) and do they need any mavens to run? (Sorry if I formatted it wrong i'm just starting to mod.)
  12. Now I just want CoFH core and Redstone Flux as dependencies, I'm gonna add RF myself.
  13. I added Redstone Flux to the mods folder and it gives this error when I run it. Could not find method deobfCompile() for arguments [cofh:RedstoneFlux:1.12-2.1.0.6-universal:universal] on object of type org.gradle.api.internal.artifacts.dsl.dependencies.DefaultDependencyHandler.
  14. How do I add Redstone Flux to the mod file in IntelliJ?
  15. I'm doing that right now but do I add the block folder (Contains the basic block) into the com folder? (src/main/java/com).
  16. Ok do I just download the jar file or is their an API for RedstoneFlux? I already added repositories { maven { name = "CoFH Maven" url = "http://maven.covers1624.net" } } dependencies { deobfCompile "cofh:RedstoneFlux:1.12-2.0.0.1:universal" } to the build.gradle like CoFH Team and KingLemming said.
  17. I want to make a machine that uses Mcjty's RF power in my mod but how do i implement RF into a block? In intelliJ? running the forge 1.12 MDK is fine but when I add the example mod files from McJty's video it keeps giving me errors. buildscript { repositories { jcenter() maven { url = "https://files.minecraftforge.net/maven" ; url = "http://maven.covers1624.net" } } dependencies { classpath 'net.minecraftforge.gradle:ForgeGradle:2.3-SNAPSHOT' deobfCompile "cofh:RedstoneFlux:1.12-2.1.0.6-universal:universal" } } apply plugin: 'net.minecraftforge.gradle.forge' //Only edit below this line, the above code adds and enables the necessary things for Forge to be setup. version = "1.0" group = "com.yourname.modid" // http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-naming-conventions.html archivesBaseName = "modid" sourceCompatibility = targetCompatibility = '1.8' // Need this here so eclipse task generates correctly. compileJava { sourceCompatibility = targetCompatibility = '1.8' } minecraft { version = "1.12.2-14.23.5.2824" runDir = "run" // the mappings can be changed at any time, and must be in the following format. // snapshot_YYYYMMDD snapshot are built nightly. // stable_# stables are built at the discretion of the MCP team. // Use non-default mappings at your own risk. they may not always work. // simply re-run your setup task after changing the mappings to update your workspace. mappings = "snapshot_20171003" // makeObfSourceJar = false // an Srg named sources jar is made by default. uncomment this to disable. } dependencies { // you may put jars on which you depend on in ./libs // or you may define them like so.. //compile "some.group:artifact:version:classifier" //compile "some.group:artifact:version" // real examples //compile 'com.mod-buildcraft:buildcraft:6.0.8:dev' // adds buildcraft to the dev env //compile 'com.googlecode.efficient-java-matrix-library:ejml:0.24' // adds ejml to the dev env // the 'provided' configuration is for optional dependencies that exist at compile-time but might not at runtime. //provided 'com.mod-buildcraft:buildcraft:6.0.8:dev' // the deobf configurations: 'deobfCompile' and 'deobfProvided' are the same as the normal compile and provided, // except that these dependencies get remapped to your current MCP mappings //deobfCompile 'com.mod-buildcraft:buildcraft:6.0.8:dev' //deobfProvided 'com.mod-buildcraft:buildcraft:6.0.8:dev' // for more info... // http://www.gradle.org/docs/current/userguide/artifact_dependencies_tutorial.html // http://www.gradle.org/docs/current/userguide/dependency_management.html } processResources { // this will ensure that this task is redone when the versions change. inputs.property "version", project.version inputs.property "mcversion", project.minecraft.version // replace stuff in mcmod.info, nothing else from(sourceSets.main.resources.srcDirs) { include 'mcmod.info' // replace version and mcversion expand 'version':project.version, 'mcversion':project.minecraft.version } // copy everything else except the mcmod.info from(sourceSets.main.resources.srcDirs) { exclude 'mcmod.info' } }
