  1. What launcher are you using? Please provide a screenshot of the whole thing.
  2. By that I mean it's going to go the way of 1.7.10 and the other old versions, available for download from the archives but with no user support as we move on to focus on the newer versions.
  3. Fair warning, 1.12.2 will be End of Life soon
  4. The server is entirely separate and if you're put off by a text-only or almost-text-only interface you're going to have a bad time managing the server. As long as you, the server, and your friends have identical mods and configs they should be able to connect just fine assuming you do the proper network setup.
  5. Have you put a log statement in the command itself to make sure that code is executing?
  6. DM me a link to where you got the mod? I want to run it through a virus scanner.
  7. You should import the zip you downloaded earlier, or search it up through the client itself
  8. Go to the "Mods" tab and click Minecraft (I believe it has to install a plugin or extension when you first click on it), then you can search up the pack or click "Create Custom Profile" and when the window pops up look just under the heading for the "Import" button hidden in small text.
  9. I forget the full legal arrangement, but I think Twitch at this point owns Curse or at the very least has a hand in managing it. It's the Twitch Client that exports and imports the modpack files that are posted to and distributed by CurseForge. Frankly I'm not impressed by the Twitch Client at all, so I would recommend using Twitch to download the pack but not play it, I would instead recommend following this video to run the Twitch pack through the vanilla launcher:
  10. Modpacks from Twitch don't contain the mod files, the mods are downloaded by the client following a manifest that's in the zip when you import the pack.
  11. One of the mods says otherwise. Please read up on the StopModReposts project (link in my signature) for info on why this is a bad thing.
  12. I don't understand the issue, does Forge not work or are you just confused about the lack of a jar file?
  13. Also make sure you're looking in the actual version list and not the installation list.
  14. As long as it doesn't affect worldgen too much it should be safe. It sounds like one of those mods that adds a single block anyway.
  15. Please read the Logs section of my signature below and provide the appropriate log in the appropriate manner.
  16. Honestly I'm not 100% sure I'm reading this correctly, but back up your world and try removing Mystcraft
  17. Please read the Logs section of my signature below and provide the appropriate log in the appropriate manner.
  18. Sounds like you're using the old Jar launcher, get the new native launcher. Also note: Forge won't work with Java 11, you'll need to install 8, 9, or 10
