The official AlphabetBlocks mod by AaronLardenoye and tomv123

Forge is necessary

Writing text in Minecraft has always been quite an exhausting and timewasting job. It isn’t quite pretty either to have big letters (and massive words) in your world. That’s why we made AlphabetBlocks. Making text has never been as easy as Alphabetblocks. Using it is really simple and easy, you craft your blocks, or you take them out of the creative menu in our tab. The mod doesn’t just contain letters, but numbers and punctuation marks as well. Every block has its own different color, which makes your messages even more beautiful. So stop reading and continue to the download link for an even better Minecraft experience.

Installation notes:

1. Install ForgeYou probably have it when you're on this site, but just in case. The most recent version will suit, but any other version for MC 1.5.1 will work. Then place it in minecraft.jar

2. Download Alphabetblocks from this thread

3. Place this zip file in the mods folder in .minecraft (Forge has normally created this folder)

4. Start up Minecraft. The game has now created a configuration file for the mod

5. If there are any ID conflicts, or the rainbowy backgroundcolor doesn't suit you, you can change it in the configuration file (.minecraft\config\Alphabetblocks.cfg)
