Hi, When I put in the mod id for my mod (pplanet) it comes up with an error saying:  "Attribute value must be constant" I'm sorry, I am still learning how to mod, I am following Minecraft Forge's tutorials for modding. Please help because I am on a team and we are looking for coders, so I'm taking up the job.

Please learn java before making a mod.

Some tips:

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

Programming via Eclipse's hotfixes will get you nowhere

5. Learn to use your IDE, especially the debugger.

Support & Bug Reports:

Spoiler

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

In Java anything that is wrapped in text must be quoted to be use

In this case u should do modid = "pplanet"

Do not be afraid to use long Mod IDs. If your mod is called "Prehistoric Planet" your Mod ID should be prehistoricplanet.

or modid = "prehistoricplante"

When using IntelliJ, press Alt + Enter to find out errors happening on red colored underlines, usually those error occurs when the syntax of the code is wrong
