I also wanted to take this chance to give everyone a bit of a tour of the world, and some more details about the gameplay of Windforge.

 

Brewing

One of the main ways to make money in Windforge is brewing. Invest money into creating and maintaining your brewing stations, and then flip it for a profit at the nearest Tavern.

Mining

Until you have breweries and farms set up, the secondary way of making money would be mining. Sell your hard earned valuables to the Blacksmith as you start your journey in the world.

Farming

The easiest, but by far the least profitable way to make money is farming. Sell your produce in bulk and make a decent profit.

Blackwater Port

A view of the docks.

Ports are safezones where all the trading and selling happens. When the beta opens there will be at least one port, although upon full release there will be three total. (one as the server spawn, and two more on opposite edges of the map) All ports will be linked by portals, which will make them serve as a "fast-travel" of sorts. Physically walking through these portals will be the only form of teleportation on the server. (except for /faction home, to save the location of your base) The lack of instant teleports will increase the challenge, the use of airships, and in turn the possibility of airship combat.

The Wilderness

The wilderness is the vast unexplored area of the world that YOU can claim for your own, build your own cities, farms, breweries and airships. Build or do anything you like. Live your life as a pirate, sailing the skies and preying on others. Or make an honest living as a merchant. It's entirely up to you.

As you can see in this screenshot, the entire world is a mix of floating sky islands as well as regular land. It's incredibly diverse, and far more interesting than your regular old vanilla world.

      Ok so, i managed to fix it, if you have zombie awarness it requires coroutil, even if the mod page doesn't say it needs it it does.

      Did you check the getRenderShape method of your block to ensure it's returning the correct enum value?

      new to messing with modpacks. the server starts and the pack is playable on personal worlds, but every time i try to enter the server, i get "internal exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Payload may not be larger than 1048576 bytes" and it boots me. not sure what this means. the debug log is essentially gibberish to me and i'm not sure... about anything. is it saying that it's sending me too much data? if it helps at all, my mc username is "leucanella", and the disconnect reasons are near the very bottom (at least once was due to mismatched modlists, but i got that fixed i'm pretty sure). i just can't make sense of it myself. https://gist.github.com/idlebird/c5269e80434a501104f6b99ebc16be46

      We somehow figured out the issue: Whenever we try to eat a food item from the mod "[Let's Do] Candlelight" that can be eaten multiple times using a feeding upgrade from "Sophisticated Backpacks", that's when we crash. Food items include: - Beef Wellington - Bolognese - Chicken Alfredo - Chicken with Vegetables - Cooked Beef - Fricasse with Hash Browns - Lasagna - Lettuce with Steak - Lettuce with Tomatoes, Potatoes and Carrots - Mushroom Soup - Pasta with Bolognese - Pasta with Tomato Sauce - Pork Ribs - Roastbeef with Carrots - Salmon with White Wine Sauce - Tomato Mozzarella Salad - Tomato Soup - Tropical Fish Supreme

      Me and my sister are playing on a modded minecraft server, but recently she has been crashing at random intervals and no one I've talked with knows why. There's no crash report on my sister's side, but in the log of the server there appears a bunch of lines every time she crashes. They appear to be mostly similar with different mods changing each crash.
