clowcadia
So I am following another outdated tutorial, so as usual there is an issue package com.clowcadia.mod; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.network.IGuiHandler; public class ModGuiHandler implements IGuiHandler { @Override public Object getServerGuiElement(int ID, EntityPlayer player, World world, int x, int y, int z) { return null; } @Override public Object getClientGuiElement(int ID, EntityPlayer player, World world, int x, int y, int z) { return null; } }

Awesome_Spider
umm... Just use the quick fix your IDE suggests? Edit: Sorry, I replied too late. Edited February 16, 2017 by Awesome_Spider
Draco18s
1 hour ago, Awesome_Spider said: umm... Just use the quick fix your IDE suggests? Neither one of the suggestions are (technically) correct. In this case, "implement methods" would work but it may cause a problem (duplicate method signatures) when there's an easier solution (importing the right classes). Quote Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given. Draco18s
java.lang.NullPointerException at com.clowcadia.mob.Blank.processInteract(Blank.java:20) ~[Blank.class:?] world is null because you never assign anything to it: World world; You shouldn't even have this field as Entity already has a world object field, it's (unsurprisingly) called worldObj .
