[1.7.10] How to remove all kinds of particle effects from my block?

I want my block to be invisible and so far I've removed hitEffects and stepEffects from my block, but when I break the block, fall from high up on the block, or sprint on the block particles show up. How do I stop this? I apologize for still using 1.7.10.

Um what? I was hoping I could do this just like I removed the stepeffects and hiteffects.

@SideOnly(Side.CLIENT)
    public boolean addHitEffects(World worldObj, MovingObjectPosition target, EffectRenderer effectRenderer)
    {
        return true;
    }

@SideOnly(Side.CLIENT)
    public boolean addStepEffects(World worldObj, MovingObjectPosition target, EffectRenderer effectRenderer)
    {
        return true;
    }

This pertains to the block breaking particle which can be found in the particles of the json file for your block.

"particle": "blocks/piston_bottom",

He is not using 1.8+

1. You should update to the most recent version.

2. addDestroyEffects shoulf let you get rid of the block destroyed particles.

3. For getting rid of step effects maybe override getStepResourcePath
