Hello, I have just started creating my mod and I wanted to organize my files more than just a bunch of .json files in my assets/modid/models/item package. I want to split it up inside of the "item" for weapons, tools, blocks, etc. The attached picture is the basic effect I am trying to achieve, but the textures break when I try to do so. I can't figure out what file looks at the file path, so I can't change it.
