because I already solved that problem

im trying to download version 1.12.2 of Minecraft forge from the official forge website https://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.12.html

I found out the other problems had to do with 2 Minecraft's opening for some reason in task manager but the problem now because I tried to uninstall and reinstall is that I cant download it at all

the problem now is it wont redownload certain libraries

idk how ??

? where do I find the logs

and I tried to delete it and redownload it and when I did it said it was unable to download mercurius updater

I previously tried to do the nod on 1.7.10 and was told that to fix it I was to not use 1.7 because it wasn't supported so I tried it with 1.12.2 and got a similar result

im trying to run forge 1.7.10 and when I run Minecraft under the forge load it loads for about 2 min then says its not responding when you click the X it says the java is not responding
