  2. This is the ItemInit code : package hunter.canadamod.init; import hunter.canadamod.Reference; import hunter.canadamod.init.items.MapleSyrupBottle; import net.minecraft.client.Minecraft; import net.minecraft.client.renderer.block.model.ModelResourceLocation; import net.minecraft.item.Item; import net.minecraftforge.client.model.ModelLoader; import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.registry.ForgeRegistries; public class ItemInit { public static Item maple_syrup_bottle_empty; public static void init() { maple_syrup_bottle_empty = new MapleSyrupBottle("maple_syrup_bottle_empty"); } public static void register() { registerItem(maple_syrup_bottle_empty); } public static void registerItem(Item item) { ForgeRegistries.ITEMS.register(item); Minecraft.getMinecraft().getRenderItem().getItemModelMesher().register(item, 0, new ModelResourceLocation(Reference.MODID + ":" + item.getUnlocalizedName().substring(5), "inventory"));
  3. I can't get my modded item to register and have a custom model and texture instead of the missing model block. If I reload the texture via F3 + t, it will load the model in game. I have followed many tutorials and updated my forge to the latest version 1.12-14.21.1.2443 and I still can't get it to work. Please help me
