  3. Quit the speculation. Ama is the one holding things back with the delay in FG3. Then cpw will port whats his rewritten modloader stuff from his 1.12 branch, and then we start on Forge. There is no hidden conspiracy to delay things from getting to you. Shit just takes time (admitadly, ama is taking way more time then he should and its starting to annoy me as well, but whatever) As for Optifine, its "70% done" because the guy is using the work input into mcpconfig and backporting it to the old tool chain so he can do all his jarmodding. This is not something you as a general user should do as you need to understand what youre doing. And the tools are being rewritten so that they can deal with the the things that have changed in the years since minecraft modding began.

  5. Unless you are putting the instance somewhere to keep it separate from another instance the default will suit you fine.

  6. You set the Game Directory to the mods folder? Please note that the Game Directory is where those folders (config, logs, mods, resource packs, and saves) are kept, this is what allows you to keep separate instances/profiles of Minecraft for different versions and/or modpacks without constantly switching the files around.

  9. I'm not sure why this isn't working for you, and you may want to change. To have your modid I have this which should be similar to your code and it works

  10. @GeoffrySkio Your problem is you are reading where you should be writing and writing where you should be reading in your IMessage instance.

  11. Did you write the code for runGenerator? Did you read it? Because if you did you need to learn java or read it again. Your actually telling it to generate a batch of 3 or 100 times per chunk. Between y 69 and 64.

  13. As I said the 'use' of specifying a factory is to allow you to get around the hacky reflection requiring a single constructor with only a world argument. It's better code. And again, just because you registered the same class to multiple names, doesn't mean anyone can figure out what name you used to create the entity. Everything is based on class.

  14. Locked. JRed you are consistently coming around asking for help with your fucking coremod that I'm fairly sure every member of staff has asked you to stop using, yet you insist on hacking the shit out of everything because you think you know better yet you refuse to prove that your way is better by contributing to Forge directly. I will say this again, if you are having trouble with making a coremod maybe you shouldn't be hacking the shit out of other people's code.
